Indianapolis Colts running back Donald Brown will test out his injured knee tomorrow in hopes of playing in Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans. Brown has been out since Week 4 and was expected to miss 2-3 weeks with the injury. If he is unable to go, Vick Ballard will make his third start of the season. Ballard has 151 yards on 49 carries.
Donald Brown injury: Colts will test knee on Thursday, fantasy value dependent on positive results
If Brown is able to return this week, it would be the best case scenario from when his injury originally happened. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Take: Brown has been just okay this season, but picked it up against the Packers in his last game with 84 yards on 17 carries, but he hasn't scored since Week 1. The Colts are third in the NFL in pass attempts and have put a large part of the offensive onus on Andrew Luck. Against a Titans defense that is last in the league in points allowed, either Brown or Ballard could be a good flex play, depending on who starts.
