Aaron Hernandez misses media portion of practice Thursday: Fantasy implications
Aaron Hernandez was absent the media portion of Patriots practice Wednesday, according to reports. We break down the fantasy implications.

Hernandez was able to play Weeks 6 and 7. He caught 11 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown combined over games against the Seattle Seahawks and the New York Jets in his first game action since the injury.
Fantasy Impact: Considering Hernandez' big impact in the Pats' last two games, it's possible that Bill Belichick is simply giving his tight end some time to rest. Until you hear otherwise, assume Hernandez will be on the field in Week 8 against the St. Louis Rams.
Assuming he is over his ankle injury, Hernandez is a solid starting tight end in standard fantasy football formats. He saw nine targets from Tom Brady in his first game back, indicating just how important the Patriots view his role in the offense.
