Pittsburgh Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) missed another practice Thursday and is increasingly unlikely to play on Sunday against the Washington Redskins. Mendenhall has played in only two games this year as he deals with ongoing injury woes. He sat out the first three games rehabbing from a torn ACL, then had an unrelated Achilles injury against the Titans in Week 6 and hasn't played since.
Rashard Mendenhall misses another practice as fantasy value continues to stagnate
Rashard Mendenhall missed his second day of practice Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jonathan Dwyer got the start in Mendenhall's place last Sunday. He had 122 rushing yards on 17 carries against the Bengals.
Fantasy Impact: It’s been a frustrating ride for fantasy owners who keep having to bench Mendenhall, but as Matt Ufford notes in the latest “Keepers” episode (embedded below), he’ll be the Steelers’ best feature back once healthy, and could be a great buy-low candidate for your stretch run.
In the meantime, keep rolling with Dwyer as a flex option. He's been far more reliable than Isaac Redman, who is also questionable to play this week.
