Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart might be a great buy-low candidate in fantasy football right now. Head coach Ron Rivera has said that there will be changes on offense for the 1-5 Panthers, and Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer believes that Carolina will go to a power running game and away from the zone-read packages.
Jonathan Stewart could be featured more in Panthers offense, raising fantasy value as buy-low candidate
As Carolina shifts to a power running game in an effort to shake-up their offense, is Stewart a must-own now? We break down the fantasy implications.

Stewart has already been installed as the feature back over DeAngelo Williams, and he has run for 142 yards in four games with 4.1 yards per carry. He has not yet scored a touchdown on the year and has missed time due to injury, but a new scheme and more carries could give Stewart an opportunity to be an important part of the Carolina offense.
Fantasy Take: His value is so low right now, if you pick up this news before others, that Stewart could likely be had for a bench player. That's a risk that most should be willing to take, if they can. However, this week the Panthers face the difficult Chicago Bears defense, meaning that Stewart could have to wait a week to really blow up in fantasy.
