Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jonathan Dwyer is fully expected to start his second straight game against the Washington Redskins in Week 8, according to the Beaver County Times. Dwyer got his first career start in Week 7 with Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) out and was impressive, racking up 122 rushing yards on 17 carries.
Jonathan Dwyer expected to start again Sunday, has decent fantasy value
Jonathan Dwyer is fully expected to start against the Redskins in Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Mendenhall not practicing this week, he will likely be out again, giving Dwyer the start.
Fantasy Impact: Isaac Redman (ankle) has been limited in practice and will probably be a game time decision. Even if he's active, I expect the Steelers to ride the hot hand with Dwyer, who's been a much more reliable playmaker.
The Redskins have one of the worst secondaries in the league, but their run defense is ranked 8th in fewest yards allowed. Fantasy owners can pencil Dwyer in as a flex option, but don’t expect a repeat of last week.
