Washington Redskins WR Pierre Garcon (foot) has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The news comes as no surprise, as Garcon didn't practice all week and has been dealing with a ligament tear on his toe. The Redskins may simply shut him down until after their Week 10 bye and re-evaluate him then. He has opted against having surgery.
Pierre Garcon ruled out for Sunday, killing fantasy value again
Pierre Garcon has been ruled out for Week 8 against the Steelers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Garcon has played in only three games this season. He has nine catches for 153 yards and one TD.
Fantasy Impact: It’s time for fantasy owners to consider pulling the plug on Garcon. He hasn’t been productive since Week 1 and this injury has completely derailed his season.
Garcon should probably be dropped in all but the deepest leagues. It’s not worth the weekly headaches.
