Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson is officially inactive against the Jacksonville Jaguars in their Week 8 matchup. Nelson injured his hamstring in practice on Wednesday and he was expected to test it out before the game, but it appears that those tests did not go as well as hoped.
Jordy Nelson injury: OUT against Jaguars, raising fantasy value of Randall Cobb, James Jones
Green Bay’s top receiver will not play against the Jaguars after suffering a hamstring injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Greg Jennings also out, this will leave James Jones and Randall Cobb as the starters. It should also push veteran Donald Driver up the depth chart.
Fantasy Take: This is a surprising and tough blow for Nelson owners this week, but could be good news for those that own Jones or Cobb. Aaron Rodgers will have to focus more on those two, as well as tight end Jermichael Finley, against a Jags defense ranked 26th in scoring defense.
Cobb should be listed as a WR1 and Jones pushes up to a WR2 in Week 8.
