Fantasy football owners have been wondering what to make of the Pittsburgh Steelers running backs, and eight weeks into the season, we may have an answer. In his second start in as many weeks, Jonathan Dwyer is looking like the answer for Pittsburgh. A week after rushing for 122 yards on only 17 carries, Dwyer has 87 yards midway through the third quarter against a decent Redskins rushing defense.
Jonathan Dwyer helping fantasy owners forget about Rashard Mendenhall, Isaac Redman
Jonathan Dwyer has rushed for 87 yards through the third quarter against the Redskins. We consider the fantasy implications.

Dwyer just missed out on a touchdown on the Steelers most recent drive, but with a 27-9 lead, look for Dwyer to get a healthy dose of carries the rest of the way.
Fantasy Impact: It is pretty much a certainty that Jonathan Dwyer is not available in your league, unless you have eight or fewer owners. If he does happen to be available, it would be wise to pounce on him immediately. Rashard Mendenhall and Isaac Redman will get healthy at some point, but Dwyer would seem to be in the driver's seat for now. He is a solid RB2 at this point for those who picked him up already.
