Jones struggled with only 44 yards on 15 carries in Week 7 against the Panthers. This came a week after he rushed 18 times for 92 yards and a touchdown. Phillip Tanner will serve as Jones' backup a week after getting 13 carries following Jones' knee injury against the Panthers.
Fantasy Impact: The Cowboys face a decent matchup against the New York Giants, who rank No. 26 in adjusted line yards by their defensive front. If completely healthy, Jones is looking at a juicy home matchup. Unfortunately, we do not know for sure how healthy that knee is. Jones is a guy worth starting, particularly if you are dealing with bye week issues, but temper your expectations this week.
