The Philadelphia Eagles struggled mightily in Week 8 as they were hammered 30-17 by the Atlanta Falcons. The Eagles could not get much of anything going on offense as the run game was shut down and Michael Vick struggled with consistency. Vick finished the game 21-of-35 for 191 yards and a touchdown, and both Vick and Andy Reid discussed the QB position. Although Reid did not say he would bench Vick, it is clear he will consider all his options this week.

After the game, Reid addressed the media and indicated he would he would go back and look at everything to decide on his QB for Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints. Vick was asked about Reid's comments and the Eagles QB was not particularly surprised:
Obviously, he’s thinking about making a change at quarterback. If he makes that decision, I support it.
While Vick is being a “team player” with this comment, that still does not sound like something a quarterback would be saying if he was surprised he might lose his job.
Fantasy Impact: If the Eagles elect to bench Vick for Nick Foles, it throws into question most of the Eagles passing attack. Foles is a talented quarterback, but he has yet to see regular season NFL action. Jeremy Maclin, DeSean Jackson and Brent Celek all would be downgraded a bit in fantasy football just because of the unknown factor. Foles could prove to be the answer to all that ails the Eagles, but until we see him on the field, most Eagles become risky gambles.
As for the running game, LeSean McCoy gets the benefit of potentially more carries to support the young QB, but of course, defenses might be more inclined to stack the box and dare Foles to beat them. Much like with the wide receivers and tight ends, McCoy becomes a bit more of a question mark. You start Shady no matter what, but just keep these issues in mind.
