Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert did not have a terrible game in the Week 8 loss to the Green Bay Packers. The Jags QB remained turnover free, threw one touchdown and broke 300 yards passing. Even though it was a futile effort on Gabbert's behalf, glimpses of future potential is always a good sign.
Blaine Gabbert surpasses 300 yards passing in Week 8: Fantasy Implications
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert threw 300-plus yards in Week 8. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

The young quarterback has his good days and his bad. It’s clear he is still growing and developing as a passer, but still seems a couple years away from being truly competitive. Jacksonville is hoping they finally have their franchise quarterback in Gabbert.
Fantasy Analysis: Gabbert is still not a viable fantasy option. Even though he threw 301 yards in Week 8, it was on 49 attempts. The team was without Maurice Jones-Drew and had to keep up with a high-octane offense in Green Bay. Gabbert is still growing as a passer and as a fantasy commodity.
He is not worth ownership in 2012, but future seasons could bring him into fantasy relevance. For the moment, steer clear of Gabbert in all fantasy leagues.
