Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb was asked to step up in Week 8 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. In the absence of Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson, perhaps the team's most exciting playmaker was given a bigger role in the offense. Without fail, Cobb capitalized on his opportunity with five grabs for 28 yards and a touchdown.
Randall Cobb finds the end zone in Week 8: Fantasy Implications
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb scored a TD in Week 8. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

His productivity per catch was less than desirable, but the fact that he came up with one of Aaron Rodgers' only two touchdowns is a good sign. Cobb brings a great deal of explosiveness to an already high-octane Packers offense.
Fantasy Analysis: Cobb’s fantasy value has been up-and-down this season, but it is currently hot. While the Packers are banged up at receiver, Cobb could thrive within this offense. He has the explosiveness and big-play ability to put up monster games, and owners don’t want to miss out on those.
With a more prominent role, Cobb could see some bigger games. However, the injury statuses of Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson are huge factors when it comes to Cobb’s overall value. But while they are sidelined, feel free to start Cobb.
