Even though the Giants came away with the win, advancing to a 6-2 record, Manning has seen better days. This was not an elite day for the reigning Super Bowl champion.
Fantasy Analysis: The Giants defense was the MVP in this game. The G-Men accounted for one offensive touchdown on Sunday, with an Andre Brown rushing touchdown. While Manning spread the ball around, looking good at times, the team failed to put the game away early.
Manning has exploded for huge games a number of times in 2012. He has become a legitimate fantasy option in every league. Despite the rocky Week 8 outing, continue to start Manning week to week.
