This offseason, Dallas went out and acquired two top-flight cornerbacks who have greatly impacted their ability to defend even the best receivers. If Cruz was going to have an off game, it made sense that it came against Dallas. Lucy for him, the Giants were able to sneak out a win.
Fantasy Analysis: Cruz is a WR1 in virtually every fantasy format. In most weeks, fantasy owners can depend on Cruz to lead not only their receivers in points, but in some cases, the entire team. Cruz has massive potential week in and week out, with a positive and evolving relationship with quarterback Eli Manning.
Cruz remains a must-start week to week. He should pick his hot streak back up in the immediate future. Don’t let Sunday’s performance make you think any less of Victor Cruz.
