Jonathan Dwyer rushed for 107 yards on 17 carries in Week 8 against the Redskins. He’s now posted back-to-back 100-yard games, and according to Pro Football Focus, 187 of his 239 yards in the past two weeks have come after contact.
Jonathan Dwyer running well creates fantasy complications in Steelers backfield
Jonathan Dwyer is making a case to be the No. 1 back in Pittsburgh. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette believes there will only be controversy in the Steelers backfield if Dwyer doesn’t get the start against the Giants next week.
Fantasy Impact: Two weeks with Dwyer starting equaled two wins for the Steelers. Rashard Mendenhall and Isaac Redman have been inactive with injuries recently, but if they are ready to go in Week 9, Mike Tomlin will have a decision to make regarding the backfield workload.
The Giants run defense hasn’t been impressive this season, so if Dwyer starts he will have a good shot at another 100-yard week. However, his owners need to keep an eye on the status of Mendenhall and Redman going forward.
