The Carolina Panthers are not actively looking to trade running back DeAngelo Williams or anyone else before Tuesday's deadline, according to coach Ron Rivera. He said on Monday that he has not discussed a trade concerning Williams with anyone. He then referred questions about personnel to Brandon Beane, who has been handling those matters since Marty Hurney was fired.
DeAngelo Williams not actively being shopped, according to Panthers coach; fantasy owners wait
The Carolina Panthers are not actively looking to make a trade by Tuesday’s deadline, according to coach Ron Rivera. We break down the fantasy implications.

A source tells The Charlotte Observer that at least one playoff-contending team has reached out to the Panthers about possibly trading for the back. Williams has been the subject of trade rumors since falling behind Jonathan Stewart on the team's depth chart.
Fantasy Impact: Trading Williams could clear some room in Carolina backfield, especially since the team seems committed to making it work with Stewart as the starter. Fantasy owners who have Stewart probably wouldn’t mind seeing Williams get moved.
Williams has little fantasy value at this point and a trade would be a boost for him. He’s currently a handcuff to Stewart but that could change on Tuesday.
