Ben Tate is “definitely a few days away” from practicing, as reported by Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com. The Texans No. 2 running back continues to work back from a hamstring injury, but he may miss Week 9.

Houston takes on the Bills porous run defense this upcoming Sunday, so Arian Foster might be in for an even bigger day.
Fantasy Impact: Buffalo has allowed plenty of fantasy points to backup running backs this year, so if Tate can play he might be a decent flex play. However, the fact that he isn’t practicing coming off the Texans bye week doesn’t bode well for his status.
Justin Forsett will backup Foster if Tate can’t go. Be sure to check on Tate’s status throughout the week.
