Brady Quinn was not at practice on Monday as he was undergoing concussion tests. Matt Cassel continued taking first team reps, and he will be the starter on Thursday night if Quinn isn’t able to go.
Brady Quinn not at practice, Matt Cassel fantasy value on the rise
Brady Quinn is looking unlikely to play in Week 9. We break down the fantasy implications.

With such a short turnaround this week, it will extremely tough for Quinn to get back on the field.
Fantasy Impact: Cassel did manage to throw for 251 yards and two touchdowns in Week 4 against the Chargers, so there is hope for him in Week 9. The Chiefs offense has really struggled in recent weeks, though, making it tough for anyone to provide much value for owners.
You can probably expect Cassel to be under center, but don’t turn to him to save your lineup this week.
