Hurricane Sandy has forced the NFL to push back this week’s trade deadline until 4 p.m. on Thursday. The original deadline was set for Tuesday but the league has closed its offices for that day because of the storm.
NFL trade deadline moved to Thursday: Fantasy implications
The NFL has pushed back the trading deadline until Thursday because of Hurricane Sandy. We break down the fantasy implications.

In past years, the NFL trading deadline had been after Week 6 but it was pushed back before the start of the season.
Fantasy Impact: There has been a lot of speculation about whether players like DeAngelo Williams, Steven Jackson and Dwayne Bowe would be moved to new teams this week and now there is extra time to make that happen.
The trade deadline in previous seasons has been a non-event for fantasy owners because trades so rarely happened in the middle of the season. The perception could change if players like the ones mentioned about end up in new places. The wait will continue for a few more days.
