The Carolina Panthers say they have no plans to trade DeAngelo Williams, but that doesn't other teams from trying. A team source told the Charlotte Observer that at least one "playoff-contending" team reached out to the Panthers with an offer.
Panthers don’t plan on trading DeAngelo Williams: Fantasy implications
At least one team reached out to the Panthers for DeAngelo Williams, according to a source. We break down the fantasy implications.

Williams is now a non-factor in the offense and is owed $5.25 million in the first year of a five-year, $43 million contract.
Fantasy Impact: The team insists that he’s not being traded, but never say never. He has no place in the offense anymore, and the team would love to start shedding ex-GM Marty Hurney’s ridiculous contracts.
The trade deadline got moved up to Thursday due to Hurricane Sandy, so I don’t think this is the last of the trade rumors. Williams is still a good player trapped in a bad situation - perhaps fantasy owners shouldn’t give up on him if he gets moved this week.
