John Skelton will remain the starting quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals, head coach Ken Whisenhunt confirmed Tuesday according to Kent Somers of AZ Central Sports. Skelton went 32-for-52 passing for 290 yards and an interception during Monday night's 24-3 dismantlement at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.
John Skelton will remain Cardinals starting quarterback: Fantasy implications
Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt won’t be making a change at quarterback after John Skelton struggled Monday night against the 49ers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Whisenhunt said that the Cardinals will not panic despite the ugly loss. Skelton is starting in place of Kevin Kolb, who suffered a ribs injury in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Impact: The Cardinals don't really have any other options at quarterback, anyway, with Kolb still on the mend. Ryan Lindley could see increased reps in practice, but don't expect him to be on the field any time soon. Skelton is the least of the Cards' problems anyway, considering the sorry state of the running game and the offensive line.
Skelton could actually be a sneaky good fantasy option going forward. With the running game struggling, the Cardinals will be forced to put the ball in the air a lot. If your fantasy league doesn’t punish too harshly for turnovers, Skelton could be a legitimate starting option depending on the matchup.
