Alex Green remains Packers starter over James Starks: Fantasy implications
Alex Green will remain the Packers’ starter at running back over James Starks despite recent struggles. We break down the fantasy implications.

Green had just 54 yards rushing Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars despite 22 carries. He average just 2.5 yards per carry, yet Starks was given just one carry for eight yards during the win.
Fantasy Impact: The Packers would rather not spend more cap space on a running back like Steven Jackson or DeAngelo Williams if they can help it, so expect to see heavy doses of Green going forward. It is surprising that Starks isn't getting more touches within the offense, but there is no denying that Green is a better physical talent.
The Packers will face an Arizona Cardinals defense in Week 9 that has faltered recently. The Cards have given up over 100 yards rushing in four consecutive games, all of which have been losses.
