There was talk that Vick could be replaced by Nick Foles, who played well in the preseason for the Eagles. Vick has thrown eight interceptions and has also had a problem with fumbles during Philadelphia's 3-4 start to the season. The Eagles are off on Wednesday and will face the New Orleans Saints on Monday.
Fantasy Impact: Vick’s fantasy owners will be happier about this than some Eagles fans, as a move to Foles could have left some owners scrambling for a replacement quarterback in Week 9.
Vick threw for 191 yards and a touchdown in last week's loss to the Falcons and has a chance to put up even better fantasy numbers in Week 9 against a terrible Saints defense. He could be worth having in the lineup on Monday.
