Arizona Cardinals running back LaRod Stephens-Howling will likely remain the team's starter as the franchise is not expected to add a running back or quarterback at the trade deadline, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. There has been speculation that running backs like DeAngelo Williams and Steven Jackson would be available at the trade deadline, which has been pushed back to Thursday.
LaRod Stephens-Howling likely to remain starter for Cardinals: Fantasy implications
The Arizona Cardinals are not likely going to trade for a running back or quarterback ahead of this week’s deadline. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stephens-Howling had six yards on eight carries on Monday against the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile, John Skelton will remain the team's starting quarterback at least until Kevin Kolb is healthy enough to play again. Skelton passed for 290 yards and an interception against the 49ers.
Fantasy Impact: The Cardinals currently don't have a good fantasy option at running back between Stephens-Howling and William Powell but it doesn't sound like a move is in the works.
Neither player is worth a start on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Skelton has slightly more fantasy value as a quarterback but is nothing more than a bye-week replacement.
