Indianapolis Colts head coach Bruce Arians has yet to name a starter at running back between Donald Brown and Vick Ballard, according to George Bremer of the Herald Bulletin. The two backs will reportedly play "equal amounts" in practice and potentially in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins.
Donald Brown, Vick Ballard to play ‘equal amounts’: Fantasy implications
Colts head coach Bruce Arians says he will wait to see how the week goes before naming a starter at running back between Donald Brown and Vick Ballard. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brown led the Colts in rushing last week, with 80 yards on 14 carries. Ballard was less effective, picking up 55 yards on his 12 carries.
Fantasy Impact: It looks like we can expect a timeshare in Indianapolis for the time being. Brown was a hot pickup off waiver wires this week in hopes that his solid outing Sunday would earn him a feature role. Unfortunately, shared duties take away a lot of fantasy value for both players.
Neither Brown nor Ballard will have much running room this week, going up against a Dolphins defense that is giving up just 82 yards rushing per game and 3.5 yards per carry. They are Flex options at best in standard leagues.
