Ben Tate misses practice Wedneday, unlikely to play vs. Bills: Fantasy implications
Ben Tate missed practice Wednesday due to a lingering hamstring injury. He is not expected to practice Thursday, or play Sunday when the Texans take on the Bills. We break down the fantasy implications.

It is unclear how Tate injured his hamstring, or exactly when he will be able to play again. The Texans may try to sign running back Jonathan Grimes if Tate is projected to miss an extended period of action.
Fantasy Impact: While the injury news on Tate is frustrating to fantasy owners, he hasn’t been a relevant fantasy option very often this season. Outside of a two-touchdown performance in Week 2, Tate has not been worth starting in standard formats. A 47-yard rushing performance in Week 7 was his best outing since his second game of the season.
With Tate out, expect Arian Foster to take on an even greater role than he already does within the Texans' offense. Do no expect Grimes to match Tate's production if he is signed, much less do anything worthwhile from a fantasy standpoint.
