Larry Fitzgerald led the Cardinals in receiving with eight receptions and 92 yards against the Rams. He was targeted 15 times and continues to be the biggest threat Arizona possesses on offense.
Larry Fitzgerald manages decent fantasy numbers despite Cardinals’ poor showing
Larry Fitzgerald continues to be the only reliable weapon for the Cardinals’ offense. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Watching the Cardinals’ offense go to work is extremely frustrating. Fitzgerald isn’t utilized enough or in the right way in the red zone. Instead of throwing a fade route to him in single coverage against a rookie corner, they instead put him on a slant pattern that puts the ball in his hands 5 yards out of the end zone.
Kevin Kolb had no time to throw. If he could actually stay upright, Fitzgerald would see much better looks. Don't worry about Fitzgerald's stats every week; he'll manage solid numbers. It's just disappointing to think how dominant he could be with a good offense.
