Analysis: Mendenhall tore his ACL last year and Week 5 has been his timeline for about a month now. The Steelers running game has been atrocious and they rank dead last in YPC and rushing yards, with the second-fewest attempts in the league. Mendenhall should step in immediately as the starter and will likely lead the team in carries given the struggles of Isaac Redman and Jonathan Dwyer. That said, he should be in the bench in almost any league until he proves himself healthy.
