Willis McGahee rushed for just 51 yards on 14 carries in Week 5 against the Patriots. He managed to catch five passes for another 51 yards to help his overall stats, but two costly mistakes in the fourth quarter ultimately ended his day on a low point.
Willis McGahee Struggles Against Patriots, Fantasy Values Remains The Same
Willis McGahee couldn’t find any running room in Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: McGahee dropped an easy first-down catch as the Broncos were attempting to mount a comeback, and then lost a fumble towards the end of the game. While McGahee doesn’t appear to be in jeopardy of losing his job, the Broncos can’t be happy about those two events. New England took an early lead and stayed ahead the whole way, so Peyton Manning was forced to throw the ball often. McGahee’s receiving yards salvaged what would have been an awful fantasy day.
