Jamaal Charles carried the ball 30 times for 140 yards and also caught three passes for 21 yards against the Ravens on Sunday. Despite a heavy workload in Week 5, Romeo Crennel still would like for Charles to be even more involved.
Jamaal Charles Fantasy Value May Increase Even More With Larger Workload
Jamaal Charles touched the ball 33 times in Week 5, and that wasn’t enough for Romeo Crennel. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Charles is clearly a workhorse for the Chiefs with Peyton Hillis out, and it doesn’t appear that he has any after effects from his knee injury last season. Crennel talked about his usage after the game, saying, “I wish he could get it more because he can run for a touchdown.” That’s a pretty generic statement about Charles, but it’s true. He has big play ability, and it he can run all over the Ravens defense, he can probably do it against any team.
