San Francisco 49ers RB Brandon Jacobs (knee) has yet to make his season debut, and didn't suit up against the Buffalo Bills despite getting a full week of practice. Coach Jim Harbaugh told Cam Inman of the Mercury News that Jacobs is "still not quite there", and there's still no timetable on his return. The 49ers take on the New York Giants in Week 6.
Brandon Jacobs still not ready to contribute fantasy value
Brandon Jacobs is still not fully back from his knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Jacobs is running out of time to salvage any fantasy value. Kendall Hunter has well established himself as Frank Gore's handcuff, as the Niners racked up over 300 rushing yards against the Buffalo Bills. Even if Jacobs is active against the Giants, he'll have an uphill battle to get any meaningful snaps. Fantasy owners should keep him on the waiver wire for now.
