Green Bay Packers RB Cedric Benson (foot) has already been ruled out for Week 6 against the Houston Texans, reports Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Benson left Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts with a foot sprain, and was later spotted in a walking boot. He has 248 rushing yards and just one TD on the season.
Cedric Benson already ruled out for Week 6, killing fantasy value
Cedric Benson has already been ruled out for Week 6 against the Texans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: With Benson out, the Packers will probably turn back to a running-back-by-committee. Alex Green will be the likely starter, with James Starks expected to be activated after being a healthy scratch recently. Benson is hardly an inspiring fantasy play, and his injury makes Green Bay's running game even more unappealing. Nobody in the backfield is a fantasy option against the Texans.
