Chiefs vs. Chargers: Fantasy football projections featuring Jamaal Charles, Dwayne Bowe, Antonio Gates
We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 9 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers.

Kansas City Chiefs
The big question with Kansas City is whether or not Jamaal Charles will get more than the five touches he had in Week 8. When Matt Cassel is your leading rusher, something is seriously wrong. Peyton Hillis made his return, which was expected to cut into Charles workload. Instead, the Chiefs seemed to completely abandon the run game. Charles is a guy you need to stick with, but projections are lower because of the question marks.
San Diego Chargers
Ryan Mathews coughed a up a fumble last week, leaving fantasy owners scared of another benching. The Chargers stuck with Mathews, however, and he put together a solid 95-yard rushing day. He faces a great matchup against the Chiefs and is a solid start.
The passing game is facing a weak Chiefs pass defense, but aside from Philip Rivers, it remains to be seen who will get the ball. Malcom Floyd is the big upside guy, while Antonio Gates continues to struggle mightily.
