Alex Smith practices, appears on track to start for fantasy owners in Week 11
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith (concussion) appears to be on track to start in Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

Smith said he started to have blurry vision following a second-quarter quarterback sneak but added that a big hit by Rams linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar earlier in the game could have contributed to the problem. Smith threw for 72 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game. He appears to be on track to start on Monday against the Chicago Bears.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners counting on Smith should monitor his progress as the week goes along. The consensus seems to be that he will play but concussions are taken very seriously.
If active, Smith would be a low-end No. 2 fantasy quarterback against a good Chicago defense. Colin Kaepernick would start if Smith can't play on Monday.
