Buccaneers vs. Panthers: Fantasy football projections featuring Cam Newton, Doug Martin, Josh Freeman
We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 11 matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bucs are coming in hot on offense with a whopping 37 points per game since their bye week back in Week 5. Josh Freeman has a 98.2 passer rating this year and has been getting the ball down the field to his receivers with a passer rating of 108 on throws over 20 yards. The Panthers are 16th against the pass and have corners that are susceptible to giving up the deep ball. Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams should be solid plays in their aerial attack.
Not that you needed anyone to persuade you to start Doug Martin, but the Panthers are 21st in points allowed and Martin now has a nice-and-neat 5.0 yards per carry.
Carolina still hasn't hit its stride on offense and they're ranked 27th in points scored -- something Cam Newton owners did not see coming. It's likely going to be mostly on Cam's arm against the Buccaneers with Tampa Bay boasting the best rushing defense in the league thanks to their super rookies Lavonte David and Mark Barron tackling everything with a football. Tampa's secondary is one of the weakest in the league, but moving Ronde Barber to free safety has helped a little. Steve Smith should be in most lineups, too.
Jonathan Stewart might have some tough sledding and he should be benched in most leagues. His schedule will get better, though.
