Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Nick Foles struggled in his first start, as the Eagles lost to the Redskins 31-6. Foles went 21-for-46 with 204 yards passing, no touchdowns and two interceptions. He was sacked four times.
Nick Foles has a poor fantasy debut
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles struggled against the Washington Redskins on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

It was tough going for Foles, who could not connect with either DeSean Jackson or Jeremy Maclin. He targeted Jackson nine times, but only completed two of those attempts for five yards. Maclin had no receptions on three targets.
Fantasy Impact: No one expected Foles to be a world-beater in his first ever NFL start, but few thought he would spend all day on struggle street against a porous Redskins secondary. Washington had been torched by many quarterbacks this season, but shut down Foles and the Eagles offense.
Although this was not the best start, Foles is still a rookie and this was his first ever start. Expect him to improve and develop a better connection with his receivers if he starts in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers.
