Byron Leftwich was noticeably hurting after Week 11’s game against the Ravens, and now the Steelers fear he will be out for a while dealing with injuries. Ben Roethlisberger isn’t expected to play this Sunday so Pittsburgh will work out quarterbacks during the week.
Byron Leftwich injury further decreases Steelers WR fantasy prospects
Byron Leftwich may miss significant time. We break down the fantasy implications.

Charlie Batch would presumably take over under center. With all the injuries surrounding the Steelers passing game, Mike Wallace and the rest of the receiving corps will continue to see a drop-off in production.
Fantasy Impact: Wallace only caught four passes for 26 yards in Week 11. Emmanuel Sanders led the way with three receptions for 82 yards, but none of the Steelers receiving targets look like viable starters at this point.
You might want to find other options for your starting wide receivers this week. Wallace still holds the most value, though he is a WR3 at best with injuries dismantling Pittsburgh’s passers.
