NFL.com's Aditi Kinkhabwala has reported, according to a team source, that the Pittsburgh Steelers will start QB Charlie Batch in Week 12 against the Cleveland Browns. The Steelers are down to the bottom of their depth chart with both Ben Roethlisberger (ribs, shoulders) and Byron Leftwich (broken ribs) out indefinitely. They will need to sign a street free agent to fill out the roster this week.
Charlie Batch to start in Week 12--is he a fantasy option?
Charlie Batch will get his first game action in nearly a year with Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich both out. We break down the fantasy implications.

Batch last played in 2011, when he completed 15 of 24 passes for 208 yards, zero TDs and a pick in mop-up duty.
Fantasy Impact: The Steelers have officially smashed their “In case of emergency, break glass” case. Batch has been a steady backup with the team since 2003, but at age 37, we really have no clue what to expect.
Cleveland's secondary is quietly efficient, and should have Joe Haden back. Fantasy owners should take a pass on Batch.
