Blaine Gabbert placed on injured reserve by Jaguars: Fantasy implications
Blaine Gabbert has been placed on injured reserve by the Jaguars with an elbow injury, and will miss the rest of the 2012 NFL season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Chad Henne had already been named the Jaguars' starter at quarterback prior to Wednesday's news, and is poised to finish out the season under center. He went 16-for-33 passing for 354 yards and four touchdowns after Gabbert was forced to leave the game early.
Fantasy Impact: If Henne is somehow able to maintain his torrid pace throwing the ball, he will be a very valuable commodity for fantasy owners down the playoff stretch. Unfortunately, nothing in his career history suggests that that is likely. If you are desperate for a backup, Henne is perhaps worth a speculative pickup. Keep him out of your starting lineup for now, however.
