Laurent Robinson placed on injured reserve by Jaguars, ending fantasy season
Laurent Robinson was placed on injured reserve Wednesday by the Jaguars due to recurring concussion problems. We break down the fantasy implications.

Robinson finishes the year with just 24 receptions for 252 yards in seven appearances. He signed a five-year, $32.5 million contract with the Jags in March of this year.
Fantasy Impact: Though it's not really his fault, Robinson has been a big disappointment for the Jaguars and fantasy owners this season. Signed to be a No. 1 receiver following a breakout year with the Dallas Cowboys in 2011, Robinson was unable to shake a myriad of concussion-related problems.
Cecil Shorts and rookie Justin Blackmon will be the team's top two wideouts for the remainder of the season. Both receivers should see a minor increase in targets with Robinson out. The bigger influencing factor on their fantasy value for the rest of the season will be how they jell with Chad Henne at quarterback now that Blaine Gabbert has also been lost for the year.
