Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler said Wednesday that he hopes to return to practice on Thursday but is still unsure if he can play in Week 12. Cutler suffered a concussion against the Houston Texans in Week 10 and did not play on Monday against the San Francisco 49ers.
Jay Cutler hopes to practice Thursday, fantasy value for Week 12 unclear
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler (concussion) said Wednesday he hopes to practice on Thursday but doesn’t know if he can play in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cutler was replaced by Jason Campbell, who threw for just 107 yards and two interceptions against San Francisco. The Bears face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Cutler’s absence probably hurt a few fantasy owners, although hopefully none of them rushed out to pick up Campbell. Fantasy owners counting on a quick return from Cutler will have to monitor injury reports as the week goes along.
Cutler’s status for Week 12 is shaky at best, but he’s a fringe No. 1/2 quarterback when he’s healthy. Campbell is not worth owning in any fantasy format.
