With Rob Gronkowski out on account of a broken arm, there is an opportunity for Aaron Hernandez to show what he can do, if only he an return from his own injury. Hernandez (ankle) is officially questionable to return to the field on Thursday in the Patriots game against the Jets, but it's expected that he will play barring any setbacks.
Aaron Hernandez questionable for Thursday, fantasy owners watch and wait
With Rob Gronkowski out, this is a golden opportunity for Hernandez to show what he can do solo. We break down the fantasy implications.

Since an injury early in Week 2, Hernandez has been very limited for the 2012 season, playing in just two games since then. Hernandez came back to play in Weeks 6 and 7 but hasn’t returned since.
Fantasy Take: With the likelihood that he will play and the absence of Gronkowksi in the red zone, Hernandez becomes a good option for fantasy owners on Thanksgiving.
He could just be the feast that keeps on giving and ranks as one of the top tight ends in Week 12.
