Ben Roethlisberger ruled out for Week 12: Fantasy implications
Ben Roethlisberger has been ruled out for the Steelers’ Week 12 matchup against the Browns. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Byron Leftwich already ruled out with a ribs injury, Charlie Batch will start at quarterback for the Steelers. The newly-acquire Brian Hoyer will be the team's backup quarterback.
Fantasy Impact: Roethlisberger is expected to return in Week 13 from a serious ribs injury suffered in Week 10 against the Kansas City Chiefs. That's good news for the Steelers, who will be playing a pivotal game against Baltimore Ravens. Unfortunately, it leaves Roethlisberger owners in the lurch this week.
Batch isn’t worth targeting if you’re looking for a stop-gap replacement for Big Ben. He has proven himself a capable backup in the past, but that’s different from being a fantasy relevant option. Expect the Steelers to rely heavily on a three-headed rushing attack.
