With Royal out, the Chargers will move ahead with Malcom Floyd, Danario Alexander and Robert Meachem as the team's top receivers. Royal has just three receptions for 22 yards on the season.
Fantasy Impact: Royal hasn’t been a big part of the Chargers’ offense even when healthy, and should have been dumped off on waivers a long time ago. If he is still sitting on your roster, here is your reminder to dump him as soon as possible. He was worth a late-round flyer in fantasy drafts to start this season, but at this point it is clear he won’t be contributing any fantasy relevant production in 2012.
