Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans. He is expected to be out for a few more weeks. Jalen Parmele is expected to start.
Maurice Jones-Drew Injury Update: Out ‘a few weeks’ and fantasy value is deteriorating
Maurice Jones-Drew is out for a few weeks. Should fantasy owners even wait for him?

Jones-Drew led the league in rushing last year, but thanks to Blaine Gabbert and his foot injury he has just 414 rushing yards on 86 carries. He has also only scored twice.
Fantasy Impact: Foot injuries almost never end well are usually result in something that's worse than the original prognosis. The Raiders having issues with Darren McFadden and Jacoby Ford last year while Pierre Garcon serves as another example. MJD's body language is that of a guy that doesn't expect to play this year.
This puts fantasy owners in a tough spot since may spent their second-round pick on the UCLA product. The best policy is that MJD shouldn’t be cut unless you really need the roster spot and are planning on starting the player you pick up. Jalen Parmele makes sense as a pickup.
