49ers vs. Saints: Fantasy projections featuring Colin Kaepernick, Drew Brees, Frank Gore
We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 12 matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints

It's not very often you see a 7-2-1 team change its QB in the middle of the season, but that's how much they love the potential of Colin Kaepernick. He gives the offense an extra dimension that Alex Smith never could, and with an elite offensive line and running game, plus playing one of the worst defenses in the league, he's in a perfect position to succeed. Start him as a QB1.
Vernon Davis was the biggest benefactor of Kaep's breakout performance on MNF, and he should be back on the TE1 radar. Frank Gore should be starting in all leagues as usual, as well as the receivers. This is offense is a well-oiled machine.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints' offense is the biggest reason why they have surged back into the playoff picture. Drew Brees, Marques Colston, Jimmy Graham and Lance Moore are all no-brainer starts in fantasy. The running game should also benefit from the expected return of Darren Sproles. Despite a crowded backfield and few rushing carries, Sproles remains a PPR stud and YAC monster.
Even against the 49ers defense, Brees and Co. are just about matchup-proof in fantasy. This game could be a wild shootout.
