Jay Cutler will start at quarterback for the Chicago Bears against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, according to the Bears' official site. Cutler was cleared by an independent neurologist Saturday, after missing last week's game against the San Francisco 49ers with a concussion.

The news comes as no surprise. While Cutler was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report after being limited in practice throughout the week, but he was able to pass the NFL’s mandated concussion protocols.
Fantasy Impact: Cutler should give the Bears a big boost against the Vikings, after backup Jason Campbell struggled mightily against a stout 49ers defense. Cutler played very well in his last full game under center, going 19-for-26 passing for 229 yards and three touchdowns in Week 9 against the Tennessee Titans.
That said, there are much better quarterbacks out there. Cutler is a capable backup in standard formats, but should not be relied on as a weekly start if possible. Minnesota has not given up much passing yardage this season, though they have surrendered a 17-5 touchdown-interception ratio on the season.
