Ryan Mathews’ streak of putting in unimpressive performances continued in Week 12. He rushed for 72 yards on 19 carries against the Ravens, averaging just 3.8 yards per carry.
Ryan Mathews continues to disappoint fantasy owners
The Chargers are still waiting for a breakout game from Ryan Mathews. We break down the fantasy implications.

Mathews only has one touchdown in 2012, which came back on Oct. 7 against the Saints.
Fantasy Impact: Remember all the talk of Mathews being a top-five running back heading into 2012? Yeah, we can probably go ahead and throw that notion out the window. Believe it or not, 72 yards was his highest rushing total in the past four games. That should tell you something about the way he’s been running lately.
The Chargers take on the Bengals next week, where Mathews will probably be a RB2/flex play at best given his lackluster numbers these days. He still hasn’t broken 100 yards in nine games this season.
