The Steelers would like to forget Week 12 as soon as possible, and so would Rashard Mendenhall. He played just eight snaps against the Browns, rushing for an astounding six yards on four carries witt a fumble on the afternoon.
Rashard Mendenhall hurts fantasy value with ball control issues
Rashard Mendenhall didn’t see much playing time in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

None of Pittsburgh’s running backs fared well. Mendenhall certainly played his way out of a larger workload.
Fantasy Impact: Mike Tomlin does not care for those who fumble his football. Fortunately for Mendenhall, if you want to call it fortunate, Isaac Redman, Chris Rainey and Jonathan Dwyer all lost fumbles as well. It was a remarkably awful outing for the Steelers.
Mendenhall managed to fumble a second time, but this one wasn’t a turnover. His ball control issues will keep him off the field if they continue. The timeshare isn’t helping his value either.
