Fantasy football waiver wire advice, Week 13: Running backs to target with Matt Forte injured
We’re here to help you find running backs on the waiver wire for the final fantasy football playoff push.

But the work is not done, yet. The waiver wire is still ripe for the picking, especially after another key injury to one of fantasy football’s top running backs.
Let’s take a look at the waiver wire running backs that could make or break your fantasy football playoff run.
Matt Forte injured his ankle again on Sunday. Earlier this season, Forte missed a few weeks with a similar ankle injury. The severity of this ankle injury is not known, but Michael Bush is the obvious add for fantasy owners this week. Bush scored two touchdowns in Forte's absence on Sunday, and has been a reliable change-of-pace back all season long. He needs to be priority number one on the waiver wire this week.
Ronnie Hillman was the hot waiver wire pickup last week, but Knowshon Moreno was the main running back for the Denver Broncos on Sunday, dominating the snap count. Moreno has to be added, as he could become a fantasy starter down the stretch with a soft schedule and a reliable offense.
Bill Belichick is tough to figure out. He always seems to have a rotation of running backs and has no issue playing the hot hand. Now that he's healthy, Shane Vereen has been that hot hand more often. Stevan Ridley has been the Patriots most reliable back this season, but if Vereen continues to get touches, he will have some fantasy relevance down the stretch.
Ahmad Bradshaw's primary backup, Andre Brown, broke his leg during Sunday night's game. That means David Wilson will be in line for more carries going forward. Wilson has tons of talent, so he is worth stashing as insurance if Bradshaw misses any more time with injury.
